Die Vision ist klasse, nicht neu, und für einen durch und durch positiven Denker sehr schön zu lesen. Eine Renzension sollte dem Leser nützlich sein, soll will ich mich mit Offenbarungen zu meinem eigenen Erleben dieses Themas nicht verausgaben. Dennoch. 30 Jahre als Unternehmer, Organisationsentwickler, Berater usw. haben eine Erkenntnis gebracht: Die Hoffnung für die allumfassende Lösung des Organisationsproblems löst sich NICHT in Teal Organisations auf. Im Gegenteil. Was ich gerne dazu beitragen möchte ist, ein sowohl als auch aller "Farben", die Laloux modelliert. Keine Feuerwehrstation dieser Welt funktioniert teal. Die ist RED und das zurecht. Die von einem 2* Renzensenten angesprochene "spirituelle Note" entspricht linksliberaler Wohlfühlökonomie. Da müssten wir jetzt aber global wirtschaftlichsphilsophisch werden, und das führt hier zu weit. Ich habe gelernt Organisationen im kompletten "Farbspektrum" zu sehen und die gute Organisationsform jeweils an dem Ort verankern, die dort zielführend erscheint. Es gibt nicht die eine Organisation. Was ich sehe, was den Organisationen fehlt, ist eine Synchronisationskompetenz der vielen Farben. Ich erkenne keine Kommunikation über den Sinn und Wert einer Farbe als Anwendungspraxis. Alleine schon das Commitment hierüber wäre das, was Organisationen brauchen. Ich kenne als Unternehmensberater und Unternehmer jede "Denk- und Gefühlsecke" in Organisationen, das ist meine Berufung. Ich bin Ingenieur und Philosoph. Ich frage nach dem Sinn für die Organisation und für den Akteur. Es geht immer Handlungsziele, Handlungsbedingungen und Handlungsräume und nicht nur Handlungen aus reiner Liebe. Ich bin ein großer Anhänger davon, alle Dinge, die man tut, aus Liebe zu tun und nicht aus Angst. Für die Liebe muss man aber möglicherweise eine Rahmenordnung entwickeln, dass sie auch wirksam werden kann :-) Klingt jetzt nur bedingt spirituell, aber ich glaube, dass mit einer Klarheit und Kommunikation, mit welchen Mitteln wir welche Ziele verfolgen, das Glück des Einzelnen nicht weit ist. Organisationen sind ja im Grunde eher schwierige Ort der Zusammenkunft von Menschen, dei Erfolg für andere generieren sollen.

Instead of promoting the role of the hero CEO driving his vision forward, Laloux looks at new ways to structure organizations. He describes a "Teal" organization structure that is radically decentralized and advocates principles of trust and empowerment for its employees. The book explains that principle of these organizations with real-world examples from organizations that are actually built this way. It is a thought-provoking look at how organizations are structured and is therefore recommended. The "New Age" approaches described in the book will, however, likely turn-off many readers.One of the most interesting aspects of the book is its presentation of the "evolution" of organization concepts moving from the strongly centralized and authoritarian approach of a "Red" organization towards the more decentralized "Green" and "Teal" structures. The book supplements the discussions on centralization vs. decentralization found in "Perils of Cetnralization" by Kollman and "The Science of Success" by Koch.His description of the Red organization provides a great characterization of one of this year's political candidates: "the chief of a Red Organization must demonstrate overwhelming power and bend others to his will to stay in position. In order to provide some stability, the chief surrounds himself with family members. Overall there is no formal hierarchy and there are no job titles. Impulsive Red Organizations don't scale well for these reasons. the chief must regularly resort to public displays of cruelty nad punishment, as only fear and submission keep the organization from disintegrating."

An alle zukunftsorientierte Menschen absolute Leseempfehlung.Ich finde in diesem Buch Antworten auf zumindest drei große Fragen zu beruflichem Leben, die ich mir seit 15 Jahre stelle. Ich hatte denn schon immer ein Bauchgefühl, dass Management und Unternehmen auch anderes funktionieren können und sollen. Ich war noch nicht vollständig enttäuscht bei der Suche nach Lösungen, aber bisher konnte alleine und in meinem Umfeld (8 verschiedene Teams) nur sehr wenige Rezepte und keinen klaren Weg zu dem Wunsch-Zustand entdecken. Jetzt habe ich eine Hoffnung, das Gewünschte in viel größerem Umfang zu verwirklichen.

Dieses Buch hat mein Leben verändert. Es ist sogar noch besser als Jürgen Appelo's Management-3.0.Bin sehr froh dass ich einige der Praktiken hierin nun in meine tägliche Arbeit einbinden kann und voller Hoffnung, dass meine jetzige Firma - eine sehr große Firma - irgend wann den Schritt in Richtung "teal" vollziehen kann.Sehr deutlich wird nun, warum mein Wechsel weg von einer nach außen pseudo-tealen Organisation, innen tief orange, so gut und so richtig war.
